He kōrero mōhou - About You

• NCEA Level 3 or equivalent education
• 3+ years’ experience delivering community, outreach, or library programmes
• Confident engaging with diverse groups and building strong community relationships
• Warm, empathetic, and customer-focused approach
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
• Organised and detail-oriented, with solid MS Office skills
• Comfortable exploring new technologies and service models
• Understanding of the community and voluntary sector, including work with disadvantaged groups
• Full driver’s licence and willingness to work across multiple locations

This is a permanent, full time opportunity working 40 hours per week. The hours for this role are Tuesday to Saturday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.

You will be based across Napier and Taradale Library branches, work from our mobile library van, and lead outreach in community spaces.

Remuneration for this role sits between $59,700-$70,300 per annum (including KiwiSaver) depending on your skills and experience.
