Te Āheinga - The Opportunity
- Engage with visitors at front-of-house, sharing local knowledge, answering queries, and promoting aquarium experiences and memberships.
- Support our café and retail spaces by serving customers, maintaining high hygiene standards, and seeking opportunities for additional sales.
- Help bring events to life, from responding to party bookings to assisting with set-up, service, and pack-down for functions and celebrations.
He kōrero mōhou - About You
- Confident communicator with a passion for delivering top-notch customer service across front-of-house, food service, and retail.
- 1–2 years of experience in a customer service role.
- Solid computer skills and attention to detail.

This is fixed term opportunity for one year. You’ll work 33 hours per week across 4 days as rostered (over 7 days an including public holidays). You will be based at the National Aquarium of New Zealand on Napier’s Marine Parade. $50,000-$58,000 per annum, depending on experience.
We will be interviewing applications as we receive them and may close the role when we have found the right person.
