In this four month fixed-term Receptionist role, you’ll manage bookings, check-ins, and enquiries, ensuring guests feel valued from the moment they arrive. Te Āheinga - The Opportunity

• Deliver friendly, professional reception and customer service across multiple channels (in person, online, and phone).

• Manage guest bookings, reservations, and group enquiries accurately, providing timely follow-up and information.

• Support general administration, correspondence, and record-keeping to ensure smooth resort operations.

• Assist other resort departments as needed, including housekeeping, front-of-house, events, and catering.

• Proactive, adaptable, and committed to creating positive experiences for guests and colleagues alike.

• Experience in hospitality, tourism, or accommodation reception roles and familiarity with PMS systems desired but not essential.

This is a four month fixed term opportunity until May 2026. You will work 40 hours per week across 5 8 hour days. Shifts will be rostered and may fall on weekends, public holidays or evenings. You will be based at Kennedy Park Resort in Napier.

The annual salary package for this role is between $55,907- $ 65,773 (including KiwiSaver), with the final offer depending on your skills and experience. This equates to $26.88-$31.62 per hour (including KiwiSaver).
