Your role spans gardening, grounds maintenance, minor repairs, pool servicing, and ensuring facilities meet health and safety standards.

Te Āheinga - The Opportunity
- Maintain lawns, gardens, plantings, and resort facilities to ensure high standards and compliance with health and safety protocols.
- Service pools and restock amenities during peak periods, maintaining hygiene and safety standards.
- Manage waste and recycling across the resort to support a clean, environmentally compliant environment.
- Provide courteous guest service and contribute to a welcoming and well-presented resort environment.
- Support minor maintenance and operational tasks, reporting hazards and contributing to continuous improvement of resort operations.
He kōrero mōhou - About You
- NCEA Level 2 or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in grounds maintenance, including gardening, lawns, minor repairs, and scheduled maintenance.
- Experience with swimming pool maintenance and amenity servicing.
- Full clean driver’s licence.
- Physically fit, proactive, and able to apply common-sense solutions to problems.
- Desirable: Trade experience in plumbing, carpentry, painting, audio, or building maintenance.

This is a permanent, full time opportunity working 40 hours per week. You will be rostered on a seven day rotating roster, with five days on and two days off. Some weekend work is essential. You will be based at the Kennedy Park Resort in Napier.
The annual salary package for this role is between $52,300-$61,500 (including KiwiSaver), with the final offer depending on your skills and experience.
