Napier City Council is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Napier Aquatic Network team as a Fitness Team Member on a casual basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the exceptional fitness experience we offer to our members.

As a Fitness Team Member, you will be responsible for ensuring that our gym members have a positive and safe experience while using our facilities. Your main duties will include:

• Providing excellent customer service to gym members
• Maintaining a clean and safe gym environment
• Assisting with gym promotions and events

The ideal candidate will have:

• An interest and some experience in the fitness industry
• Knowledge of fitness equipment and exercise techniques
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Fitness qualifications - minimum qualification required is Level 4 Personal training certificate.
