Business Analyst (Business Excellence and Transformation)

Permanent full time working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

We have a number of digital transformation initiatives on the horizon for 2020 and beyond and we are now looking for a suitably experienced Business Analyst to join the growing Business Excellence and Transformation Team. As the Business Analyst, you will support the team by establishing the scope and parameters of requirements on a project by project basis. You will work with the stakeholders and project managers to prioritise the requirements, define the project impact, outcome criteria and metrics.

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

  • A relevant tertiary level qualification
  • Significant (5+ years) relevant experience in a change management/ business analyst role
  • Proven experience with requirements management and process mapping
  • Strong attention to detail and experience creating documentation to support all stages of application development lifecycle

This role will appeal to an experienced individual with proven communication, analytical and problem solving skills with a desire to be involved in a variety of projects Napier City Council. Experience in payroll or finance would be an advantage.
