Kennedy Park Resort is currently on the look-out for energetic, proactive Housekeepers to join our busy, hardworking team at Kennedy Park Resort on a casual basis to support our busy business welcome guests from all over.

As a housekeeper you will ensure that accommodation and communal facilities are always serviced and presented to a high standard. Your house keeping trolley will always be presentable and well-stocked with what you need to do a great job. You'll be a star at helping out our guests with their questions. Health and safety will be important to you and you'll follow appropriate procedures to ensure everyone is safe.

You'll succeed in this role if you've worked in housekeeping or a similar role before. Your eye for detail, sharp time-management skills and ability to work under pressure will make you a vital member of the team. • Create welcoming, immaculate guest rooms, dining and entertainment spaces through high-quality cleaning and attention to detail

• Prepare and replenish accommodation, ensuring rooms are fully equipped, organised and ready for every guest arrival

• Proactively identify maintenance, damage or supply issues and ensure they are quickly reported and addressed

• Maintain high standards of safety, security and confidentiality while respecting guest belongings and managing workplace hazards

He kōrero mōhou - About You

• You’re practical, adaptable and happy to pitch in, with housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience an advantage

• You’re friendly, approachable and enjoy creating welcoming, positive experiences for guests and visitors

• Previous experience in the accommodation industry and/or general commercial cleaning, with confidence getting stuck in and supporting wherever needed

• Reliable, adaptable and team-focused approach.

This is a casual role, offering flexibility to work on an as-required basis to suit both you and the team.

The hourly rate for this role is between $25.00 -$29.00 (including KiwiSaver), with the final offer depending on your skills and experience.
