Step into an exciting role with the Ahuriri Alliance as our Coordinator! Be the driving force behind managing customer requests and keeping our essential project delivery and quality assurance running smoothly.
Reporting to the Commercial & Performance Manager, you’ll take centre stage in supporting and streamlining customer response processes while coordinating diverse project activities. From engaging with stakeholders and resolving challenges to tracking and reporting performance metrics, your efforts will be at the heart of the Alliance’s success.
As our Alliance Coordinator, some of your responsibilities will be to:
- Follow up with Ahuriri Alliance team members to track the progress of customer requests and ensure customer-focused outcomes.
- Contact customers to confirm receipt of their requests, provide updates, and notify them when requests are completed.
- Keep customers informed throughout the process, ensuring timely and responsive communication when needed.
- Conduct customer surveys, analyze feedback and responses, and resolve issues as part of ongoing evaluation.
- Act as the first point of contact for all transportation-related inquiries, complaints, and investigations, including emergency requests and those from Councillors, the Mayor, or the CE.
- Coordinate contract management processes, ensuring the roading contracts register, tender procedures, and notices are accurate and up to date.
- Handle financial reconciliation tasks, including receipting, tracking, and releasing bonds, insurance, warranties, defect periods, and contract deliverables.
- Collect and maintain quality assurance records for work completed by the Alliance team and subcontractors.
- Collaborate with the Delivery team to ensure all quality assurance records are properly documented in the required systems.
- Manage HPMV (High Productivity Motor Vehicle) permits.
- Work with the Network Manager to ensure Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) and Corridor Access Requests (CARs) are processed promptly.
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- NCEA Level 3 or equivalent.
- 5+ years of administration experience.
- Strong understanding of contract administration processes.
- Knowledge of Council operations.
- Experience in network maintenance or civil construction (preferred).
- Collaborative team player.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word.
- Customer-focused approach.
- Problem-solver with initiative.
This is a full-time permanent role based at our Onekawa Depot site, working Monday to Friday. We will be interviewing applications as we receive them and may close the role when we have found the right person.
Please note that this role is employed through Napier City Council with you working collaboratively with the Downer Alliance Ahuriri Group.
