Opportunity 1 - Immediate Start to April 2025 (33-34 hours per week)
Opportunity 2 - September to April 2025 (20-21 hours per week)

What you’ll be doing:
- Guiding our fun visitors around our Aquarium, providing expert commentary and answering questions.
- Keeping in contact with the Napier and Hastings i-sites and other local tourism operators, conducting site visits as required and ensuring staff are familiar with the Aquarium experience.
- Delivering touch table activities and ad hoc talks and supporting the delivery and development of new conservation-based visitor activities.
What we’re looking for:
- You’ll be energetic and physically fit, as you’ll be on your feet for large chunks of the day.
- You can work a rostered 27 hours a week, including weekends and public holidays.
- You’ll have a warm patient persona and be confident in public speaking and communicating with both domestic and international audiences.
- You’ve got an interest in informal education and interpretation.
- You’ve got a basic understanding Te Reo Māori and Tikanga Māori
