Customer Service Team Leader - MTG Hawke's Bay
Permanent, 40 hrs per week Mon-Fri (some out of hours work required)
MTG Hawke's Bay has an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader Customer Service to join our Visitor Engagement team.
As the Team Leader Customer Service, you will oversee a team of dedicated Customer Service Assistants, ensuring the delivery of outstanding service to all visitors. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, and maintaining our excellent reputation on the front line.
This is a busy role and requires someone with the ability to think on their feet and multi task, ensuring the customer is always at the forefront. The right person will have experience in leading a successful team in a customer services environment together with hands on customer service experience. You will be in charge of the retail space, so you will need experience or at least the confidence to learn. Experience with coordinating events, both large and small would be helpful. You will also be required to help with Public Programming, both initiating and delivering programmes.
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- Experience in providing leadership, clear direction and support to all staff in the customer services environment
- A highly responsive and consistent approach to delivery of services
- Team leadership experience, ensuring the ongoing development of a high performing and competent team
- Experience in rostering and people management.
- Event management or coordination
- Proven stakeholder / relationship management skills
We will be interviewing applications as we receive them and may close the role when we have found the right person.
