Rates Officer

Full time permanent position working 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Napier City Council has an exciting opportunity for a Rates Officer to join our team! We are seeking a customer-focussed superstar who is a great communicator with administration experience.

You will be responsible for providing quality rates-based customer service, administration, and maintenance of rating databases, including water meter maintenance, readings, invoicing, and providing sound advice to internal and external stakeholders.

You will have a professional approach in everything you do, be resilient and adaptable and have a willingness to learn. You will enjoy being busy with the ability to self-manage and meet deadlines.

This role will appeal to a motivated individual who wants to develop their career within council and contribute to a highly successful and supportive team.

Experience in local council or dealing with valuation and property related data would be advantageous.
