A newly created opportunity has arisen in our Infrastructure Engineering team. As the Services Engineer, you will apply your technical skills and experience to engineering aspects of all asset approvals, building and resource consents processed by Council. This exciting role ensures quality infrastructure is constructed and risk is managed for new developments through robust engineering. Using judgement and best practice engineering, this role includes checking for compliance with required standards and taking the lead on behalf of Council for relevant engineering matters. Your contribution will see you having great input into this region for future generations. This is a real career pathway for engineers who want to be involved in great development projects.
Your expertise will include
- Bachelor of Engineering
- 3 years experience
- Knowledge of Three Waters engineering or Local Government
- Experience in system performance monitoring tools and techniques
- Effective facilitation skills
- Well developed verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
