Customer Service Team Member - National Aquarium of New Zealand
Casual position working as and when required.
The National Aquarium of New Zealand is owned by the people of Napier and Napier City Council. It attracts 150,000 visitors each year and offers a wide range of experiences from diving displays and keeper talks, to getting up close and personal with little penguins. Its centrepiece exhibit is the stunning 1.5 million litre Oceanarium with a 50m-long viewing tunnel.
We're looking for a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our high performing team at the Aquarium on a casual basis.
You will provide a welcoming experience to all visitors and provide service across reception, retail and cafe, including food preparation and food service.
Key requirements for the role:
- Confidence in dealing with people face-to-face
- Proven ability to deliver a high level of customer service at all times
- Display a friendly and helpful manner in order to maximise and provide a positive experience
A current first aid certificate, duty manager certificate and food hygiene qualifications are desirable, but not essential.
