Asset Management Information Officer

We are seeking someone to join our team in a full-time permanent role. The Asset Management Information Officer will engage with all Directorates to support the coordinated and integrated management of asset data and associated information systems consistent with council strategies and policies.

The successful applicant will work closely with the Asset Management Lead and Asset Management Information Specialist supporting the; development, implementation, operation and continual improvement, of a fit for purpose asset management framework for the Council in accordance with the principles contained in the international standards for asset management and associated practices. You will then assist asset managers to develop a comprehensive understanding of asset performance and condition trends, cost profiles, and risk exposure, through the interrogation and analysis of asset information and data.

Provided you've got RAMM experience, we would love to hear from you if you have:

  • An engaging and personable manner that enables you to interact professionally with all kinds of people from different backgrounds and ‘pick their brains' in a way that gains their buy in to what you are trying to achieve,
  • A National Diploma Level 6 or equivalent level of formal training in a digital information related disciple,
  • Experience in an analytical role (preferably within an industry sector using significant physical assets),
  • Proven ability in information management practices and the interrogation of database systems,
  • Proven ability in information management practices and the interrogation of database systems,
  • Experience with software packages / information technologies such as Accela, Magiq Enterprise, Oracle systems, Bentley-Water, Arc GIS, CAMMS Sycle: Project, Risk, and Planning modules, My SQL, RAMM, SPM Asset Management or similar such software products
