Risk and Assurance Lead

Permanent position working 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

We are looking for a motivated, engaging risk and quality assurance specialist to help our organisation move to the next level. You need to be someone who enjoys building relationships and working across the organisation to cajole, encourage and support as you build on and improve out systems and processes.

This role is part of the Business Excellence and Transformation team within the Corporate Services Department.

The responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the implementation, review and monitoring of a corporate risk management policy and strategy across the organisation
  • Co-ordinate and facilitate the development of a comprehensive Business Continuity policy and practices

Ideally you will have proven experience at developing and implementing risk management and compliance processes, knowledge of the insurance industry and be able to build and manage excellent relationships to enable you to achieve you, and Council's goals.
